Q Anorexia

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Anorexia and the NCCD? I anticipated being able to find information on the portal...

Dear Amanda,

The primary focus of the NCCD Portal is to support schools to complete the NCCD and receive additional funding to support students with disability and enable them to participate equally in schooling. Although it is not the intention of the Portal to provide comprehensive professional learning on all disabilities or conditions, the videos, case studies and podcasts being developed highlight the process required for teachers to identify the levels and types of adjustment are set in disability-specific contexts.

For further information on eating disorders we refer you to the Butterfly Foundation website via the 'Useful Links' page (https://www.nccd.edu.au/help-and-support/useful-links), where you can find a link, under the 'Disability organisations' heading.

Please also see below for resources to help with making an informed judgement about how disability is interpreted in relation to the NCCD.
